Monsoon In Goa Today's 2023 : Monsoon sets in in Kerala; Now will come to Goa on 'this' day
Monsoon In Goa: The long awaited monsoon has finally arrived in Kerala today. Monsoon, which arrived eight days late, has reached Karnataka's neighborhood on the first day, covering most of the districts of Kerala.
In view of this state of monsoon, the Meteorological Department's observatory has expressed the possibility that monsoon will enter the state on June 12 or 13.
According to the information released by the Meteorological Department, Southwest Monsoon covers the rest of South Arabian Sea, part of Central Arabian Sea, entire Lakshadweep area, most of Kerala, most of South Tamil Nadu, rest of Comorin region, Gulf of Mannar.
Due to favorable conditions for the movement of Monsoon, the Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of activation of Monsoon in some parts of South West, Central and North East Bay of Bengal, Central Arabian Sea, rest of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka.
If all the parameters remain favourable, the speed of Monsoon will increase and it is likely that Monsoon will enter Goa in the next four to five days.
Cyclone Biparjoy towards North-North-West
Severe Cyclone “Biperjoy” over East Central Arabian Sea has moved 5 km in last 6 hours. moving north at a rate per hour. The storm is about 850 km west-southwest of Goa, 900 km southwest of Mumbai, 930 km of Porbandar. 1220 km south-southwest and south of Karachi. is far out at sea.
The weather department has predicted that it will gradually intensify in the next 24 hours and move north-northwestward in the next three days. Although this cyclone will not affect the state much, the sea will remain rough.
The height of the waves will be increased. Due to this, the weather department has warned that the fishermen should not go into the sea for fishing.
